Great neighbourhoods are complex.

Too often new developments try to cover up the challenges and contradictions – between old and new, rich and poor, nature and urban, grit and gloss. Yet these contractions create vibrant places we want to be part of.

2 Tecumseth will introduce nearly 1,000,000 square feet of mixed-use development across five architecturally distinct buildings.

Located in the heart of Toronto's arts and entertainment corridor, the project will showcase and support the future of the creative industries - a key economic growth driver.

Inspired by the Quality Meats Abattoir that operated until 2014, we will work with partners and residents to grow food onsite through an integrated urban agriculture program.

Finally, the Garrison Creek which flowed through and is now buried beneath the site, led us to prioritize the environment and natural spaces that are so critical for our health and wellbeing.

We will reimagine the landscape and pursue ambitious sustainability targets.

At 2 Tecumseth we will ensure that a diversity of voices, incomes and lifestyles can thrive in one place.

We will explore how value is shared in new ways. We will evolve and be open to new ideas.

And together, we’ll create something that is wonderfully different and vibrant.
